Bacon & Cheddar Omelette Breakfast Burger
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp pure cream
- Seasoning, to taste
- 2 tomatoes, finely diced
- 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 rashers Don Butcher's Style Pansize Bacon
- 4 light rye bread rolls
- 40g rocket, to serve
- ⅓ cup tomato chutney, to serve
Bacon & Cheddar Omelette Breakfast Burger

Everything tastes better with bacon! Add chunks of DON® premium bacon to this omelette recipe for a full flavour breakfast for the whole family.
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Whisk eggs and cream, season and set aside.
- Pan fry tomato, then add egg mix. Allow omelette to seal on bottom of pan, then top with cheese and transfer to oven to set.
- Fry bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel. Toast bread rolls until golden.
- To serve, layer bun with rocket, tomato chutney, omelette and bacon.
