Kabana Pigs in Blankets

Ingredients

  • 2 × square of puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 kabana sausages, cut into 5 cm logs
  • 1 egg, for egg wash
  • Sesame seeds, to garnish

Method

  1. Line a flat tray with baking paper.
  2. Cut pastry in half and then half again. Each half then can be cut on a diagonal to form 8 triangles per sheet
  3. Working with triangle at a time, stretch the longer end a little. Place the kabana log on the longest end and then roll up in to crescent. Place on the tray, seam side down. Repeat with the remaining triangles.
  4. Brush lightly with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Pre heat the oven to 190°C. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden.
