Ingredients

  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • 6 slices of fresh white square sliced bread
  • 1½ cups of Napoli-style sauce
  • 8 bocconcini balls, torn
  • 6 black olives sliced
  • 200g DON Kabana, sliced into 2 cm thick rounds
  • Basil, to garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a muffin tray with oil.
  2. Using a cookie cutter, cut bread into 12 large round discs and arrange in muffin to form a nest. Brush bread with oil and then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes to set and dry out.
  3. Remove then add Napoli sauce, olives, bocconcini and kabana slices. Return to oven and bake for a further 10-15 minutes to melt cheese.
